Lunch and Learn: Memory Loss and Dementia

Wallingford Public Library welcomes the public to a presentation on memory loss and dementia.

Wallingford Public library welcomes Grace Martha, Memory Care Resource Coordinator for Masonicare to discuss the facts and figures relevant to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Ms. Martha will present on Monday, February 23 at 11:30 a.m. in the library’s Community Room. The presentation will include the most common misconceptions with these different diagnosis and provide a basic understanding about the various types of dementia. Ms. Martha’s presentation will also cover the importance of mental exercises and how to keep minds sharp and brains challenged. A complimentary light lunch will be provided after the program.
