Lyman Hall Football Coach Expects Not to Be Rehired: Report

The coach expects the Carini Bowl on Thanksgiving morning to be his final game with the team.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Lyman Hall football coach Aidan Lynch expects to coach his last game for the Trojans in the annual Carini Bowl on Thanksgiving morning, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

Lynch told Bryant Carpenter of the Record-Journal that while he wasn’t officially told he wouldn’t be back, it was made clear to him in meetings this week that he will not be rehired for next season.

Lynch had requested meeting with Lyman Hall Principal Joseph Corso and Athletic Director Steven Baker earlier this week after hearing rumblings throughout the season that feelers were being sent out to gauge interest in the position, according to the Record-Journal.
