Lyman Hall Principal Leaving District For New Position

WALLINGFORD, CT — Lyman Hall High School Principal Joseph Corso has accepted the position of Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations for the Stratford Public School District.

Corso, who served as principal of Stratford High School before joining Lyman Hall in 2015, announced the news on Monday in a message to the Lyman Hall community.

“This is an exciting next step in my professional journey, but it is also a very difficult one because of how much Lyman Hall has meant to me and my family over the years,” Corso wrote. “Serving as principal of Lyman Hall has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I have been fortunate to work with incredible students, dedicated staff, and families who care deeply about this school and its community. I have always believed that strong schools are built on relationships, trust, and a shared commitment to students. I am incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in me to help lead and care for your children. That responsibility is something I have never taken lightly.

“There are countless memories I will carry with me, but what I will remember most are the people and the relationships that have made Lyman Hall such a special place. Thank you for your support and for allowing me to be part of your families’ lives. I will truly miss the Lyman Hall community and will always be proud to have been part of the Trojan family.”
