Man Charged In Violent Assault: Wallingford Police
The man was arrested again after police said he violated the conditions of release before his court appearance the next day.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford man was recently arrested on strangulation and other charges in connection with a domestic violence incident, according to police.
Police responded around 9:35 p.m. on Jan. 25 to the incident and found the victim with “visible injuries,” according to Officer Alex Torres.
An investigation determined it to be a “violent sexual assault that occurred in the presence of a minor,” Torres wrote in a news release.

Torres said the Detective Division and the Community Impact Unit “seamlessly” worked together to find and take the suspect, Mark Anthony Lincoln, into custody.
Lincoln, 24, was arrested on charges of second-degree strangulation, second-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, first-degree unlawful restraint, and risk of injury to child.

Lincoln was released after posting a $100,000 bond and was issued two separate conditions of release and given a court date of Jan. 26, according to Torres.
Torres said Lincoln was arrested again on Jan. 26 and charged with two counts of violating conditions of release. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 16, according to state judicial records.
