Man Fired Gun During Fight In Wallingford Parking Lot: Police

A man was held on $350,000 bond on charges that he fired a gun and threatened people during a fight, police said.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A man was charged on accusations he fired a gun during a fight in the parking lot of a Wallingford restaurant, according to police.

Police received a call June 23 at 2:11 a.m. reporting gunshots in the parking lot of the Corner Cafe on Church Street.

Police learned that two people were arguing with three patrons at the restaurant prior to closing.

Once the restaurant closed, the verbal argument escalated into a physical fight. One suspect took a gun from his waistband and fired shots at the ground.

The suspect then threatened to shoot the three people before he fled.

Police said Steven Lucisano, 26, fired the gun. He has a criminal history disqualifying him from owning guns, police said.

He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of a pistol, three counts of first-degree armed threatening, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal discharge of a firearm, third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, and three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.

His bond was set at $350,000. He is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Wednesday.
