Man Struck Female Employee in Face During Shoplifting Attempt at Wal-Mart: Report
The man is accused of attempting to steal two power drills worth nearly $400.

A Wallingford man faces several charges after allegedly striking a female employee in the face during a struggle while he was attempting to steal two power drills from Wal-Mart, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Justin A. Dighello, 36, of 7 Beth Ann Court, was arrested Aug. 10 for the incident, in which he is accused of attempting to the two drills in the self-checkout line.
The drills were each valued at $188.97, according to the Record-Journal.
