Man Threatens to 'Shoot Up' Wallingford CVS for OxyContin Pills: Report

Wallingford Police are looking for a man who threatened to shoot up the CVS Pharmacy on North Colony Road if the pharmacist did not give him all of the OxyContin pills in the store, according to NBC Connecticut.

NBC reports the suspect fled with more than 1,000 pulls and may have gotten into a car that another person was waiting in and drove away.

Police responded to CVS at 7:49 p.m. on Monday and said no employees or customers were injured during the robbery and the man never brandished a gun despite implying he had one, according to NBC.

NBC reports the man walked up to the pharmacy counter and handed over a note, demanding all of the “oxys” or he would shoot up the store.

Police say the suspect had a beard and was wearing sunglasses and a black hooded jacket with what appeared to be a North Face emblem, according to NBC.
