Mannequin Dressed in KKK Clothing Found on Top of Building in Wallingford: Police
Police received a report of a person on top of the building, but it turned out to be a mannequin.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford Police received a report of a person dressed in Ku Klux Klan clothing on top of a building early Saturday morning. However, it turned out to be a mannequin.
Police responded to a vacant building at 8 George St. at about 7:25 a.m. on Sept. 17 and determined it was a mannequin dressed in KKK garb on top of the building, according to Lt. Cheryl Bradley.
Bradley said police made contact with the owner of the building. The property owner told police they didn’t put the mannequin there and gave officers permission to remove it.

Bradley said there doesn’t appear to be a criminal violation in the incident, other than a trespass on the property.
