Lillian Noemi Tanch, 82, of Wallingford, departed this life on January 16, 2026, at Masonicare Health Center. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Louis S Tanch. She was born in Lares, Puerto Rico on July 9, 1943 to the late Tito and Blanca (Vilella) Romero.
Lillian enjoyed spending time with family and was loved by all that knew her. She also had a big heart wanting to help those that were in need. She loved gardening and admired all the God's creatures that came to her surroundings plus always dedicated to her beloved pets
Lillian is survived by her brothers Angel Mario and Jose Miguel Romero in addition to many nephews and nieces.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. On Friday, her funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
