New Brewery Opening In Wallingford
After experiencing several delays, the brewery will open during the Celebrate Wallingford event.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The wait is over. After several delays, Cliffside Brewing is opening in downtown Wallingford this weekend. The brewery is located at 16B Center Street and will be celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 12 noon to 9 p.m. as part of the Celebrate Wallingford event.
Owner David Durant originally planned to open the microbrewery in the spring after receiving approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission in January, but then experienced several setbacks, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Durant brewed three of the eight craft beers the brewery will have on tap himself.
