New Coffee Shop To Open In Wallingford
The coffee shop is celebrating its grand opening on Friday.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A new coffee shop will celebrate its grand opening in downtown Wallingford on Friday.
Green Kettle Coffee is opening its doors at 208 Center St. on Dec. 2, according to a post on its Facebook page.
“After years of planning, months of construction, and thousands of cups of coffee later, we’re excited to announce we’re opening our doors December 2nd!,” the post reads. “We can’t be more thankful for all of your support and patience! Now let’s drink some coffee!!”

Owner Kristen Gilbride told the Record-Journal she chose the location, the former home of the John Kovacs Insurance Agency, to open her coffee shop due to its affordability.
Green Kettle Coffee will feature espresso-based drinks, coffee drinks, cold brew, teas, hot chocolate and pastries from local bakeries, according to the Record-Journal.
