New Hours Announced For Town Clerk’s Office In Wallingford

The Town Clerk's office will have reduced hours to give staff time to process an expected influx of absentee ballots, officials announced.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Town Clerk’s office is reducing the hours it is open to the public in an effort to give staff time to process an expected influx of absentee ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Effective immediately, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon each day through Nov. 6.

“The office will be closed at noon each day to allow staff to process absentee ballots,” Town Clerk Barbara Thompson said in a statement. “Appointments can be made for the issuance of marriage licenses only.
