New Indoor Soccer Facility Opens In Wallingford
The training facility celebrated its grand opening this past weekend.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A new indoor soccer facility has opened in Wallingford. The Soccer Box celebrated its grand opening over the weekend in its 3,000-square foot storefront at 950 Yale Ave., according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports The Soccer Box is owned by Don Dione, who is a former head coach of the East Haven High School girls’ soccer team and currently an assistant for the Quinnipiac University women’s soccer team.
The Soccer Box is franchised through a Kansas City outfit and offers children ages 6 to 12 technical training in dribbling and finishing, according to the Record-Journal.
