New Sports Bar Opens in Wallingford
The Double Play Cafe recently made its debut at its new location.

The Double Play Café has opened to rave reviews with hundreds of customers turning out to the sports bar’s grand-opening week in Wallingford.
The bar, which is co-owned by Kevin LaMay, George Butler, and Jessie Hettrick, opened last week at the former Rose’s Café at 320 Main Street, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
Double-Play Café was originally located in Meriden but the owners made the move to Wallingford because they were looking for more space with the capacity to serve food, according to the Record-Journal.
