New Stop Signs Bring Changes To Intersections In Wallingford
Police are alerting motorists to new stop signs that will bring changes to some intersections in Wallingford.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are alerting motorists to new stop signs that are being added to North Main Street and North Elm Street that will result in changes to the intersections of North Main Street and High Street and North Elm Street and High Street.
“Two additional stop signs will be posted on North Main Street and will affect north and southbound traffic as it approaches High Street, creating a four-way stop at this intersection,” Lt. Anthony DeMaio wrote in a press release. “The addition of one new stop sign posted on North Elm Street will affect northbound traffic as it approaches High Street, creating a three-way stop at this intersection.
“These changes have been initiated in the interest of public safety and to facilitate improved traffic flow at these locations.”
