New Use Revealed For Former Iconic Bank Building In Wallingford: Report
Two businesses are expected to open soon in the building, according to a report.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A jewelry store and a café will open in the iconic former Wells Fargo Bank building on North Main Street in Wallingford, according to the Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports ACHIQ Designs, a jewelry store that also has a location on South Main Street in Cheshire, and Le Jardin Café will open in the first floor of the building at 86 North Main Street.
Joe Gouveia, the former owner of the Library Bar and Bistro who bought the building for $1.2 million in November, told the Record-Journal that the businesses are hoping to open in early October.

Gouveia announced the sale of the Library Bar and Bistro, which is located next door to the former Wells Fargo building, in May. The family said at the time that while they were “sad to close this chapter of our lives at The Library, we are very excited to delve into another adventure at the Wells Fargo building next door and spend more time with our growing family.”
