NEW Yoga for Veterans class at Wallingford Adult Ed

ONE WEEK LEFT TO SIGN UP! New 10-session class for Veterans of any age or level--family members are also welcome!

Wallingford Adult Education is offering a new 10-session class--Yoga for Veterans--beginning Monday, September 29. The class runs 6:30-7:45pm in the Exercise Room at Sheehan High School, 142 Hope Hill Road. Class fee is $88 ($5 discount for Wallingford residents). Please call the Adult Ed office at (203) 294-3900 to register or visit the WAE website. (The class is listed in the Dance & Fitness section.)

Family members are also welcome to sign up!

Numerous studies have shown that the study of yoga, mindful breathing exercises, and systematic relaxation can help relieve stress, promote a better night’s sleep, and support healing to the body and mind. Students will learn basic yoga positions, breathing techniques, and deep relaxation techniques. All levels are welcome! (Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and a blanket or cushion to sit on).

Your instructor is Ellen McNally, a registered yoga teacher trained in Mindful Yoga Therapy through the Veterans Yoga Project, Newington CT.
