Nice out today, I saw 2 families of Mallard duck. One family in the water and the other resting under a shady tree. There were lots of water lilies some dead some alive.
There were a few cars some of the people were fishing. In the center parking area I saw a Canada Goose resting, laying flat but head and neck upright. It was alone and seemed to stay that way to long. The goose later got up and went toward the water. It seemed kind of weak or sick. As it drank water it held it's right leg up. When it walked back it did not look right. I called the PD and and asked them to connect me to the Animal control which the policeman did. I left a message about the goose and was hoping they would come out to check it. An hour later I came back the the goose was still there. I don't think they went to check the goose.
To the right of the center there were Swans farther out. Nice day to relax and have fun.
