Oakdale Theatre Damaged In Powerful Wind Storm

WALLINGFORD, CT — The roof of the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford was damaged during Friday’s storm.

The powerful storm brought heavy rain and strong wind gusts to the area during the overnight hours. Wind is expected to remain an issue all day and night, especially in the afternoon hours.

The storm knocked out power to more than 100,000 residents in Connecticut on Friday morning.

The Oakdale Theatre box office and venue is closed until Jan. 3 for the holidays, according to a post on its Facebook page.
