He was born in Meriden on June 23, 1951, a son of the late Leslie and Jennie (Simonetta) Pierce. He was a Sargent in the Airforce. He worked as an operations manager for Stop & Shop for 35 years. He was a very active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, loved Elvis and would often imitate his singing and dance moves and was a fan of Western movies.
