Obituary: Albert Wayne Plunske, 72; Wallingford Native

Albert Wayne Plunske, 72, of Port Huron, Michigan, died peacefully, Monday, August 6, 2018. He was the loving husband of the late Sharon Ann (Handal) Plunske.

Wayne was born in Wallingford, July 10, 1946, a son of the late Theodore Plunske and Dorothy Smith Plunske and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Wayne was employed by Pratt and Whitney Aircraft and Hobson and Motzer until his retirement.

He is survived by his children David Plunske and his son Tucker of Manchester, Bill (Lorraine) Plunske and their children Brandon, Jason, and Nathaniel of Clinton, Jennifer Plunske of Meriden, Annalise Letizio of S. Carolina, Anthony Letizio of Meriden; his companion of over 13 years Julie Koon of Michigan; his sisters Dorothy Lee of Florida, Geraldine Harvey of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Friday, August 10, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
