Amy, who worked many years at Captain Seas, would always help those in need. Her children were the most important thing in her life.
WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Amy Lynn (Barker) Ottochian, 48, of Wallingford; mother of Allie and Brayden Ottochian passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
Amy was born in Derby on April 6, 1975, the daughter of Nancy (Anderson) Smith and Jack Howard Barker; and sister of Todd Barker.
Amy worked many years at Captain Seas alongside her mother and step-father Nancy and Rick Smith who formerly owned the restaurant for 28 years. She loved astrology as she was very intuitive, and she would always lend a helping hand to those in need. Her children were the most important thing in her life.

Amy’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to The American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
