Obituary: Angel ‘Pepe’ Procel Fajardo, 49, of Wallingford
Angel worked many years for the Kelly Construction company, several restaurants in the area and Kelly's Landscaping.

Angel "Pepe" Procel Fajardo, 49, of Wallingford, CT, a beloved father, cousin, and uncle died peacefully at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven Hospital August 21, 2018.
Angel was born to Angel Maria Procel and late mother Blanca Rosa Fajardo who predeceased him in August 1989. He was the oldest child and is survived by his sister Emma Procel Fajardo who lives in Quito, Ecuador. Angel was born in Musaray Cuenca, Ecuador on September 16, 1968 and came to the United States in June 1995 with his late wife, Magdalena Uzho who predeceased him in February 2015. Angel worked many years in the Kelly Construction company, then moved on to working at Wendy’s restaurant in Wallingford, Trackside Pizzeria, Dino’s Restaurant in North Haven and Kelly’s Landscaping.

Angel is survived by his two children who reside in Ecuador, Angel Procel of Pastaza Ecuador and his two children, and his daughter, Nelly Jhanet of Arapicos, Ecuador and her five children. Angel is also survived by his two sons who live in Wallingford, Luis Procel and Juan Procel.
Angel is also survived by his cousins, Remigio and Armando Fajardo who loved him dearly and was more like a brother to them. He is also survived by his loving nieces Kelly and Lynnette Fajardo. He will be also missed by his loving girlfriend Jennifer Carter who was there for him in his final moments.

Angel’s family will receive friends and family in the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, 68 North Colony Road Wallingford, CT where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. After the mass, Angel’s family will be serving a luncheon at 236 South Orchard Street, Wallingford, CT, for friends and family to join them.
