WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Ann M. Lewis, 93, of Wallingford, loving wife of the late Howard D. Lewis, passed away peacefully May 5, 2023 at her home.
Ann was born in Lansford, PA on July 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Korsak) Porvaznik.
The most cherished relationship was the one she shared with her late husband, Howie. Married for 69 years, their relationship brought her so much happiness and joy. Theirs was a special bond that saw them holding strong and steady throughout the ups and downs of life.

Many folks in town remember Ann from her years at the Wallingford Board of Ed. Never one to sit still, she also acquired her real estate license and began selling local homes with Kowalski.
After retirement, Ann spent 20 years wintering in Reddington, FL with her husband, Howie where she spent many afternoons by the pool, playing bridge and socializing with her large group of friends.

Affectionately referred to as mom-mom, she was a constant in the lives of her daughter Audrey and her grandchildren, Heather and Michael, who remember many special vacations, sporting events. sleepovers, and parties around the pool at their former home on Wayne Road.
Ann is remembered as being a fabulous hostess–her parties (and her dancing) were the stuff of legends! She loved to socialize and her motto “the more, the merrier!” was always on display around her pool in the summertime.
Ann’s legacy (besides always having her make-up perfectly applied and her jewelry on!) is that she was able to continue to spend quality time with her loving daughter, son-in law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, much in part to her wonderful home healthcare aide, Belinda. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had her on earth for this long, but thankful and blessed she had a peaceful parting and is now resting in the arms of her beloved Howie.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Audrey McNamara and her husband, David; her grandchildren, Heather Vinci-Kreiman (Charles Kreiman) and Michael Vinci (Charlotte Vinci); and her five great-grandchildren, Campbell, Caitlin, Gabriel, Blake, and Abigail.
