Obituary: Anthony R. Griffin, 38, of Wallingford

Anthony R. Griffin, 38, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Anthony was born in Meriden, November 7, 1979, the son of the late Gayle Griffin and had been a lifelong Wallingford resident. He was the owner of Griffin Construction Company for many years. He enjoyed golfing and hunting.

He is survived by his sister Jennifer Herring and her husband Al of Plainville; several aunts; and uncles; his nieces Nicole Lavoie and her husband Josh and Michala Blankenship; his nephew A.J. Herring; his grandniece Riley Lavoie; and his four legged companion “Junior.”

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services and Interment will be private.
