Obituary: Anthony Robert Russo, 58, Of Wallingford
Anthony was not only a passionate amateur astronomer, but also served as a mentor of science and coach for WGSL.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From B.C. Bailey Funeral Home): Anthony Robert Russo, a resident of Wallingford, CT, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Anthony, known as "Tony," was the son of the late Lawrence Russo Sr. and Margaret (Pfeiffer) Russo. He leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Kim (Savoy) Russo; his daughter, Emily (Russo) Harvey, and her husband, Russell Harvey; his son, Dominic Russo; his brother, Lawrence Russo Jr., and his wife, Cheryl (Roy) Russo. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Margaret (Pfeiffer) Russo, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Anthony was a member of the 1984 graduating class of Notre Dame High School. He went on to graduate from Stonehill College in 1988 as well as Notre Dame University in 1989.

Anthony was not only a passionate amateur astronomer, but also served as a mentor of science and coach for WGSL. His dedication to his family as a loving father, husband, uncle and son were unparalleled.
Professionally, he excelled as a software engineer, initially as a contractor before becoming an employee of VBrick in Wallingford and lastly SmartPay Solutions in Southington.

His infectious smile, hearty laughter, witty jokes, and compassionate spirit will forever be missed by all who knew him.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 23, from 4-7 p.m. at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 65 North Main Street, Wallingford, CT, on Saturday, February 24, at 2 p.m. All who wish to celebrate Anthony's life are welcome to attend.
