Obituary: Barbara Ann (Bernardoni) Cerasale, 78, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Barbara Ann (Bernardoni) Cerasale, 78, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Barbara was born in Meriden, November 25, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry J. and Pauline (Swantek) Bernardoni and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School. She had been a Wallingford resident her entire life. She had been employed by 3M Purification in Meriden and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford.

Barbara was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her. Everyone close to her knew her as “Babcia.”

She is survived by her son, Barry Cerasale and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Cerasale; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Nathan Cerasale; her brother, James Bernadoni and their family dog, Sophie.

Barbara’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral, 809 N. Main Ext, on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
