Obituary: Barbara ‘Mimi’ Dichello, 83, Of Wallingford
"Mimi was a firecracker that was a lifelong, proud Wallingford resident… She lived a life as vibrant as her red hair."

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Barbara "Mimi" Dichello, 83, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023. A caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was born to the late James Dichello and Helen Zemke Dichello of Wallingford, July 5, 1939. She is survived by sisters, Jane Socha and Rosemary Lindauer, beloved daughter, Kimberly Pisani (Kurt Marschner), grandchildren Samantha Caraballo (Angel), Joelle Pisani (Sean Sullivan), Sarah Kritikos (Dimitri), Julia Pisani (Thomas Laudano, Jr.) and Vincent Pisani and her best buddy and great granddaughter Olivia Marie Delucia.
Mimi was a firecracker that was a lifelong, proud Wallingford resident. She was a member of both the Elks Club and Trinity Ladies Club. She lived a life as vibrant as her red hair. She would often be seen up at the casino, at BINGO nights with friends, and driving around town in her Cadillac full of her grandchildren with Cher blasting out of the radio. Her life seemed to make the most sense when she had Kimberly by her side.
