Obituary: Bonnie J. (McCarty) Bonito, 69, of Wallingford
She worked at Wells Fargo as a bank teller and supervisor until her retirement and was lovingly referred to as "The Mayor" of Wallingford.

Bonnie J. (McCarty) Bonito, 69, of Wallingford, peacefully entered into eternal life, Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Bonnie was born in Concord, New Hampshire, December 12, 1948, a daughter of the late William J. McCarty and Pauline M. (Drouin) McCarty and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. She was employed by Wells Fargo as a bank teller and supervisor until her retirement and was a member of the Yalesville United Methodist Church. Bonnie worshipped her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a social butterfly who had a tremendous amount of close friends, especially Regina Ferreira and Vicky Gerace. She was lovingly referred to as “The Mayor” of Wallingford. Bonnie also enjoyed bowling, playing Mah Jong and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters Jamie L. Day and her husband Thomas of Rhode Island and Jennifer L. Bonito and her husband Jeffrey Kuryluk of Fairfield; her precious grandchildren, Emily Day, Sarah Day, Aiden Kuryluk, Mia Kuryluk; her two sisters Colleen Harris and her husband David of Wallingford; Betsy Parisi and her companion Barry Beitman of South Carolina; her former husband James L. Bonito; many nieces; nephews; and friends. Bonnie was predeceased by her sister Patricia Lake; and her longtime companion Michael Falcigno.
