Obituary: Bruce A. Gardinier, 81, Of Wallingford
He had been employed by New Departure, Allied Signal and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until his retirement.
WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home): Bruce A. Gardinier, 81, of Wallingford, loving husband of the late Doraine L. (Paul) Gardinier, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.
Bruce was born in Meriden, Oct. 2, 1940, a son of the late James Gardinier and Helen (Yeske) Gardinier and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He had been employed by New Departure, Allied Signal and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until his retirement. Bruce enjoyed boating and fishing.
He is survived by his loving daughters Lynnet (Steve) Frank and Kristen (Kevin) Sheehy; his grandchildren Samantha (Chris) McBriarty, Mallorie Frank, Jason Frank, Brian Sheehy, Joanna Sheehy, Tyler Sheehy; his great granddaughter Poppy McBriarty; his brother Charles (Charlotte) Gardinier; several nieces; and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Beverly Timms; and his brother James Gardinier.

His family will receive relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be private in Middlefield Cemetery.
