Obituary: Chamagne M. LaRock, 46, of Wallingford

Chamagne M. LaRock, 46, of Wallingford, passed away after a hard-fought battle with illness on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Even though her life was short lived, she had felt it had been fulfilled.

Chamagne was born in Hartford, CT., February 4, 1970 and had been a Wallingford resident her entire life. She had been employed as a court reporter for many years before she left her position to become a "full-time mom" and take care of her of daughters, Jessica and Bailey. She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, spending time with her beloved dog Daisy, and hiking Sleeping Giant State Park.

In addition to her parents, Francis E. Gernert and Colline Stachniewicz Gernert, she is survived by her husband, John C. LaRock of Meriden, her two daughters, Jessica C. LaRock of Texas, and Bailey E. LaRock of Wallingford.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Victor and Patricia Stachniewicz. Although funeral services will be private, the family wishes to thank all those who cared for Chamagne throughout the last few years.
