Floyd’s coworkers and listeners alike will always remember his acerbic, yet “corny” on-air humor. He had a way of always knowing what was most important to the average person in his audience. Floyd knew what people cared about most and he related to them on that level. Floyd truly identified with his fans.
In addition to his wife Susan, Floyd is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Neil and Julie Bukowski of Durham; and Thomas and Sharon Bukowski of Wallingford; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Floyd’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Saturday, May 6 from 2-4:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 4:30. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
