Obituary: Charles J. 'Charlie' Toth, 78, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Charles J. “Charlie” Toth, 78, of Wallingford, loving husband of the late Charliene (Snedeker) Toth, passed away April 11, 2023 at Elim Park in Cheshire.

Charles was born on January 19, 1945, a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Magyar) Toth.
Charlie was a member of the Teamsters Union and owner-operator of C. Toth Trucking Inc.

Charlie spent his life as a truck driver. Although trucking made him extremely happy, nothing made him happier or prouder than his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and watching all the children grow up and follow their dreams. When he wasn’t spending time with his family or over the road, he liked to go fishing, camping or just relax and chill at home, watching his western movies.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Liza Czentnar and her husband, John, of Hyde Park, NY, Julia Criscuolo, of Wallingford, Larae Spina and her husband, Robert, of Wallingford; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Ann Blodgett and sons-in-law, Gerald Blodgett and Frederick Criscuolo.

Charles’ family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 9 am until 11 am with a funeral service to be held at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.
