Obituary: Christopher John Carr, 54, Of Wallingford
Chris was the life of the party, the one who made everyone laugh. His sense of humor and impersonations were second to none.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): Christopher John Carr, 54, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2022. Christopher was a loving husband to Eileen and a wonderful father to his children Xanthia and Sabastion, as well as his stepchildren Michael and Megan (Sampson).
Christopher leaves behind his parents James and Doris, brother Jay (Liz) of Morrison, TN, and a sister Jennifer (Michael), as well as his Uncle Jack (Elaine) and Uncle Dave. He further leaves behind his nieces Jessica (Matthew), Kristin, and Brandi as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. Last but not least, Chris also leaves behind his best friend Rob Massaro.
Chris was the life of the party, the one who made everyone laugh. His sense of humor and impersonations were second to none. He was an avid reader and loved to write. A sports fan, Chris loved golf. On the course or watching from the comfort of his couch, golf was his game.

Photography was another passion of his, especially nature photography and bird watching.
Hungry? Another hobby of his was cooking. Best known for his sausage & peppers, chili, and French onion soup, Chris’ culinary skills were enjoyed by many. Chris had an attention to detail second to none. As a result, he excelled at his job as a warehouse manager with NWN Carousel.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of service.
