Obituary: Cynthia Cronkite, 61, of Wallingford

Cynthia Cronkite, 61, of Wallingford, departed this life on March 10, 2018 at Midstate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Portland, ME on May 25,1956 to the late Emery & Barbara (Corliss) Cronkite Jr. Cynthia dedicated her life to caring for people and worked as a CNA for Masonicare in Wallingford for over 30 years. Besides spending time with her family, Cynthia loved reading, golfing, traveling, movies and taking hula dance lessons.

Cynthia is survived by her loving children; Stephen (Jamie) Beebe and Samantha Girouard, as well as her beloved grandchildren; Cristian Nieves, Marissa Nieves, Brooke Beebe and Tyler Beebe. She also leaves behind a brother; Bruce (Linda) Cronkite, three sisters; Annette Corliss, Kathy Ricker and Roxanne Miles as well as the father of her children; George Beebe (Linda Hettrick).

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. A public visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-4 pm.
