Obituary: Daniel Eugene Ahearn, 60, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Daniel Eugene Ahearn, 60, of Wallingford, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Midstate Medical Center. He was born in Meriden on May 24, 1963, a son of the late Donald and Eileen (Desmond) Ahearn.

Danny was an avid outdoorsman; throughout his life it was most common to find him in a field riding one of his horses, quadding with his kids, or tending to the fire pit. He was most happy when surrounded by his kids, his family & friends, telling stories and helping everyone to remember the good old days.

He is survived by his children, Ashley Garland Ahearn of Ringwood, NJ, Finley Jean Ahearn of Austin, TX, and Clayton Daniel Ahearn (Colby Carlo Ahearn) of Wallingford, CT; his life-partner, Kathy Crisci of Hamden, CT; his siblings, Doreen O’Rourke, Jeffrey Ahearn, Shelby Bisi; numerous nieces and nephews; and close family friends.

Daniel’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. His funeral service and a celebration of his life will begin at 6 p.m.
