Obituary: Danno Sabatucci, 52, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Danno Sabatucci, 52, of Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 following injuries sustained in a fall.

Danno was born in Meriden, September 5, 1970, son of Dolores “Dee” Hammond of Wallingford and the late John Sabatucci.

Danno enjoyed spending time with his family, making people laugh, a good meal, and was always willing to lend a hand. Anyone who knew Danno knew he cared deeply about them and never said goodbye without saying he loved you.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Annette Janovic (Rob) of Waterford, Dawn Matuskiewicz of Durham, Austin Sabatucci Sr., of Wallingford, Rick Sabatucci of Meriden; his sister-in-law, Kristine Sabatucci of Wallingford; his cousins, Robert Sabatucci (Amanda) of Wallingford, Rita Clavet of Wallingford; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts (he was especially close to his Aunt Elia), uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, John M. Sabatucci.

Danno’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Friday, December 9, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A time to share memories and eulogies will be held at 6:30pm. Interment will be private.
