Obituary: Darlene R. (Yother) Cossette, 51, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Darlene R. (Yother) Cossette, 51, of Wallingford, died unexpectedly, May 29, 2022 at her home, she was the loving wife of Stephen R. Cossette.

Darlene was born in Meriden May, 19, 1971, beloved daughter of Patricia (Giannini) Yother of Wallingford, and the late Gilbert W. Yother Sr.

Darlene attended Lyman Hall High School, she was a graduate of Gal Mar Academy of Hairdressing, she continued to work as a hairdresser for over 30 years.

We are heartbroken by the loss of Darlene, who was taken from us way to soon. Her passing leaves an emptiness that can’t be filled ever again. She will be sorely missed by family and friends who knew and loved Darlene. She will also be missed by her loving dog Buddy who was her constant companion.

In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Gilbert Yother Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and Thomas Yother and his wife Kim, all of Wallingford; her step-daughters, Casey and Shelby Cossette; her granddaughter, Oakley; her nephews, Michael, James and Ben Yother; her nieces Lauren and Hannah Yother, whom she adored; and many cousins.
