Obituary: Darryl A. Williams, 60; Formerly Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Darryl A. Williams, 60, of Waterbury, formerly of Wallingford, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Darryl was born in Bridgeport, CT, on May 17, 1963. Family and friends meant everything to him. Darryl was always coming to someone’s rescue. When someone was being picked on, he was there to protect them. He had a love and passion for music, martial arts, cooking and western movies. He was known for his great sense of humor, his strength, and fearless attitude. There wasn’t anything that could keep him down.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife, Diane (Ribeiro) Williams and his four beautiful daughters, Heather Few, Brittany, Kristiana, and Alana Williams. As well as his Aunt Carol Williams (Neil); and his cousins, Danny Willams (Jennifer), Corey Williams and Tanya Johnson; his best friend, Charles Simms; and many loving friends and family.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, (www.wallingfordfh.com) on Monday, Jan. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., a time to share memories will begin. Interment will be private.
