Obituary: Donald E. Passmore, 62, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): It is with heavy hearts, the family of Donald Edward Passmore of Wallingford, announces his unexpected passing on October 16, 2023.

Son of the late Archie and Pauline (Zolkiewicz) Passmore, Donald was born in Meriden, on April 5, 1961.

He leaves behind the pride of his life; his daughter, Krystal Passmore (Ryan Ruiz) and his grandson Christian Gonzalez, his siblings; Beverly Ferri Stalmach (the late Charles Stalmach), Susan Benigni Cone (Scott Whiles), Robert Passmore Sr. (June Passmore), and James Passmore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Donna, Marc, Robert Jr., Rachel, Jessica, Johnathan, Tina, and Thomas as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Don was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator in which he had a passion for, for many years with multiple Union halls and companies in various states. Don was also the Director of Operations at Snow Pros, LLC for 18 years, where he made a lot of friends.

Don adored his grandson, daughter, and late mother more than anyone could express- they were the joy of his life!

He enjoyed spending time with family & friends, camping, road trips, traveling and chasing the next adventure. Don was known as kindhearted but stubborn man, always willing to give his time, and help other no matter his circumstance.

Donald’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Tuesday, October 24, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts/donations in his memory may be sent to his daughter Krystal Passmore, c/o The Wallingford Funeral Home.
