Obituary: Donald A. Krick, 75, Of Wallingford

A Lyman Hall graduate, worked for Napier as a production control manager, and then for Sulzer ABS for 31 years in inside sales and service.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Donald A. Krick, 75, of Wallingford, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Donald was born in Meriden on February 11, 1948, the son of the late Kenneth J. and Maedred (Evers) Krick. He graduated from Lyman Hall High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Don worked for Napier for 10 years as a production control manager, and then for Sulzer ABS for 31 years in inside sales and service.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Krick of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan; his grandchildren, Willem and Katherine; and his sister, Karen Krick, of Wallingford.

Don loved people, conversation, spending time with family and friends, playing and watching golf, fishing, and animals, especially dogs.

His family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Friday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Walnut Grove Cemetery where a graveside service will be held.
