Donna (Doolittle) Files, 69, of Wallingford, died August 10, 2018. She was the loving wife of Joel F. Files.

She was born in Meriden, May 13, 1949, a daughter of the late Richard Doolittle and Eleanor (Chapman) Drost and had retired from MidState Medical Center after 27 years of service.

In addition to her husband Joel, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Nicole Files of N.C.; her grandsons, Ethan Files and David Zocco; her brothers, Gary Doolittle and his wife Mary, and Robert Doolittle and his wife Rhonda; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Wednesday, Aug 15, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown.
