Obituary: Eleonora Minyard, 84, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From B.C. Bailey Funeral Home): Eleonora Minyard, 84, departed this life on April 28, 2023 at the Meriden Center.

Eleonora was born in Furth Im Wald, Germany, on May 27, 1938, a daughter to the late Fritz and Sophie Breu. She married the love of her life, Clifford Minyard in 1960 in Nuremburg, Germany and was blessed have spent 63 years with him. She and Clifford resided in Wallingford for over 50 years.

During those years, Eleonora worked at several different places including C & S Ball Bearing in Meriden, where she was part of the assembly team. She was also a sales associate for the JC Penney Company, from which she retired. During her retirement years, Eleonora loved spending time with her husband, and she also enjoyed cooking. She had a kind nature and will be missed by all who knew her.

Besides her loving husband, Eleonora is survived by Gary Cosgrove and his wife Erica of Wallingford.

All services for Eleonora will be private and at the convenience of the family. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford, Connecticut has been entrusted with the arrangements.
