Elizabeth Mary Hibson Ottens, 48, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 25 years to Robert Ottens Sr. Elizabeth was born in New Haven on November 24, 1969 and was the daughter of Margaret “Peggy” Longyear Hibson and the late Thomas Hibson.

She had worked as a secretary for Birth to Three. Elizabeth enjoyed entertaining, a good conversation, loved spending time in New Hampshire with her special friends and family, was a devoted wife and mother. Mother of Robert “R.J.” Ottens Jr. and Emily Ottens. Sister of Thomas Hibson Jr. and Diane Grenfell.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford on Wednesday (March 21) morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
