Ellen Marie Hansen, 41, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly, May 24, 2018 at her home. She was born in Meriden on June 8, 1976, a daughter of Robert Sr. and Catherine (Flynn) Hansen of Wallingford.

Ellen enjoyed reading and going to the beach, however, she loved spending quality time with her beautiful nieces above all else. The girls were the light of her life and they adored their Auntie as well

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Robert Hansen Jr. and his wife, Marceline; her sister, Catherine Hansen; and her nieces, Payton and Paige Hansen, and Alexandra Guidone.

All funeral services are private and Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wallingford.
