Obituary: Emidio F. Ramada, 80, of Wallingford
He worked as a tile setter for North Haven Tile for many years until retiring. He loved soccer and played it for many years.

Emidio F. Ramada, 80, of Wallingford, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of Deolinda Moniz Ramada.
Mr. Ramada was born in Chaves, Portugal on April 27, 1938 to the late Domingos and Ana Ramada. He worked as a tile setter for North Haven Tile for many years until retiring, and was a member of BAC Local 1. Emidio loved soccer and played it for many years, and was also an avid fan of Sporting, Red Sox, Bruins and the Patriots. His passion was his garden which he took so much pride in. He was a very loving and hardworking husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Lisa Marie Ramada of Branford, and Mark (Deb) Ramada of Wallingford; his granddaughters Carly Brow of Branford, Jessica Guidone of Branford, and Jordan and Megan Hosking of Wallingford; and his brother Anibal Ramada of Hamden and his sister Maria Palmer of Branford; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may visit prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
