Obituary: ​Everett E. Wight, 87, of Wallingford

Everett E. Wight, 87, of Wallingford, loving husband of Faith (Drake) Wight, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.

Everett was born in Providence, R.I., August 16, 1930, a son of the late Everett E. Wight Sr. and Edith M. Clough Wight and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps. Veteran and had been employed in Pharmaceutical Sales until his retirement. He was an active member in the Christadelphian community since May 17, 1952.

In addition to his wife Faith, he is survived by two children Faith (Vincent) Marra, of Wallingford and David W. (Nancy) Wight of Pennsylvania; 4 grandchildren Joshua (Amy), Benjamin (Jaime), and Daniel Lagasse, Aaron Wight; and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by great grandson Dominiq Porterfield.
A memorial service will be held on May 12, 2018 at the Christadelphian Chapel, 145 Evansville Ave., Meriden, Ct., at 11:00 A.M.
