Obituary: Gail Osborne Paszek, 80, Of Yalesville

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Gail Osborne Paszek, 80, of Yalesville, beloved wife of the late Phillip G. Paszek, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Connecticut Baptist Home.

She was born in Concord, NH, on December 24, 1941, a daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Rand) Osborne.

Gail enjoyed a long successful career teaching many children over the years at North Haven Middle School and Moran Middle School in Wallingford. She was an advocate for education and was a member of many education organizations including the Wallingford Education Assoc., the National Education Assoc., the North Haven Education Assoc., the Connecticut Education Assoc., and the National Home Economics Assoc.

Gail is survived by her siblings, Deane Osborne of Hillsboro, OR and Claire Sklarin of Epsom, NH; her sister-in-law, Gale Reynolds of Bristol, CT; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and cherished friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Osborne; and niece, Lisa Simone.

Gail’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., on Monday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
