Obituary: Glenys L. Lawrence, 64, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Glenys L. Lawrence, 64, of Wallingford, loving wife for 41 years to Donald Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly November 29, 2023 at her home.

Glenys was born in Meriden on July 22, 1959, a daughter of the late Wallace and Dorothy (Zuppe) Hanson.

Glenys worked for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for over 20 years. Her passions included cheering on the Red Sox and adoring over her grandson, AJ.

In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by her daughter, Amanda Simeone and her husband, John of Wallingford; her son, Alex Lawrence and his wife, Tania, of Wallingford; her brother, Walter Hanson and his wife, Nancy; of Wallingford; her beloved grandson, Alex Lawrence Jr.

Funeral service will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
