Obituary: Henry Marczak, 70
Henry was a gentle soul who put the spark of joy in everyone's life.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Henry Marczak, 70, answered his mother’s call to Come Home on Wednesday February 2, 2023. Henry was born on November 1, 1952, in Meriden, to Henry W. and Janet Marczak.
Henry was educated in the Wallingford School system. Henry’s mother was part of a group of parents who advocated for special needs children to receive more supports in the community. She was part of the vision that created The ARC of Meriden.
Henry was fortunate to receive over 60 years of care and support from The ARC, in his own home, and the family remains forever grateful.

Henry was a gentle soul who put the spark of joy in everyone’s life. He enjoyed watching classic TV shows, gazing at the moon, Lawrence Welk, listening to his Polka music on Sundays, and ice cream sundaes. He was a devoted Patriots and Red Sox fan, and enjoyed cheering loud and proud for his team with his family.
Henry enjoyed grabbing a treat from McDonalds and visiting his favorite places: going over the bridge to Newport, Hubbard Park, the railroad tracks to watch the trains, and Mystic Aquarium. He was a faithful parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
